Holter Cardiac Monitoring

The Holter monitor is a device that continuously records heart rhythms for 24 to 48 hours. It is used to diagnose heart rhythm problems, such as arrhythmias, atrial fibrillation, or tachycardia.

An appointment is required to place the recording equipment, after which the patient should continue with their daily activities. After 24 hours, they return to the clinic to have the equipment removed. The analysis of the recording and generation of the report takes an additional 24 hours.
